- Install — Plugins → Add New → search “Sparxio” → Install Now → Activate. (Or upload the
sparxio-ai-chatbotfolder.) - Opt-in or skip — answer the one-time Freemius screen. Sparxio menus appear right after.
- Connect AI — Sparxio → AI Settings → choose a provider → paste your API key → Test Connection.
- Add knowledge — Sparxio → Knowledge Base → add FAQs, upload files or import your sitemap.
- Brand it — Sparxio → Appearance (colours, icon, name) and Behavior (greeting, languages, lead capture).

Do I need an API key?
Yes — your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter, a local Ollama model or any OpenAI-compatible API. This keeps you in control of usage and cost, with no markup.
Can I use it as a ChatGPT chatbot for my website?
